Every certification starts with a lab report.
BIS CRS, WPC/ETA, CDSCO — almost every certification pathway needs test data before a regulator will even look at your application. We coordinate the right test, at the right accredited lab, matched to exactly what your certification needs.
Testing Is the Evidence Layer
Certification schemes don’t take your word for it — they need lab-generated evidence that your product meets the relevant safety, performance or material standard. Testing is what turns a design into something a regulator can actually approve.
Not Every Test Fits Every Product
An electrical safety test, an EMC test and a chemical composition test check completely different things. Most electronics need more than one type run in parallel, matched to exactly what the target certification asks for.
Lab Choice Actually Matters
A test report from an unaccredited lab can get an application rejected outright. We only work with NABL/ILAC-accredited laboratories, so the report itself is never the weak link in your filing.
Match your product type to the right testing track
Most products need more than one row here — we scope the full combination before testing begins.
| Product Type | Primary Test Needed | Feeds Into |
|---|---|---|
| Powered electronics / appliances | Electrical Safety Testing | BIS CRS, ISI |
| Wireless / radio-enabled devices | EMC Testing | WPC/ETA, BIS CRS |
| Plastics, packaging, consumer goods | Chemical Testing | RoHS, EPR, general safety |
| Medical devices & diagnostics | Medical Device Testing | CDSCO Registration |
| Industrial materials, export goods | ASTM Testing | International buyer specs |
| Any product with a buyer-specific spec | Client Specification Testing | B2B contract requirements |

Electrical Testing Safety
Insulation resistance, earth continuity, dielectric withstand and leakage current testing for any powered product — the baseline evidence behind most BIS CRS and ISI filings.
Chemical Testing Material Composition
Analysis of material and substance composition — restricted substances, heavy metals and plastic composition — supporting RoHS compliance, EPR filings and general product safety.
EMC Testing Electromagnetic Compatibility
Emissions and immunity testing confirming your device neither disrupts nor is disrupted by other electronics — required wherever a wireless or digital component is involved, feeding both BIS CRS and WPC/ETA.
Medical Devices Testing Biocompatibility & Performance
Biocompatibility, sterility and performance testing aligned to medical device standards — the technical evidence CDSCO expects to see before granting registration, especially for higher risk-class devices.
ASTM Testing International Material Standards
Testing against ASTM International standards — commonly requested for industrial materials and products headed to the US market, where ASTM compliance is often a baseline buyer expectation.
NABL/ILAC Accredited Testing Internationally Recognised
Testing performed exclusively through NABL-accredited laboratories operating under the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement — so your test reports carry weight with regulators both in India and abroad.
Client Specification Testing Custom Protocols
Testing built around your own buyer’s technical specification, beyond the regulatory minimum — useful when a B2B contract or enterprise customer sets requirements stricter than what the law requires.
Why lab accreditation isn’t a formality
NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredits Indian labs to a consistent technical standard. Because NABL operates under the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement, reports from NABL-accredited labs are recognised by accreditation bodies internationally — meaning your test data doesn’t need to be redone for markets outside India, and regulators trust it isn’t self-graded.
- Accepted by BIS, WPC and CDSCO without question
- Recognised internationally via ILAC mutual recognition
- Reduces risk of application rejection over lab credibility
- Every lab we use is verified before your sample is sent
From sample submission to certification-ready report, in four stages
Test Plan & Lab Matching
We identify exactly which tests your certification target requires and match you to the right accredited lab.
Sample Submission
Your product samples are prepared and submitted per the lab’s exact protocol requirements.
Testing Execution
The lab runs the required tests; we track turnaround and flag any issues early.
Report & Certification Handoff
The finished report feeds directly into your certification filing — no gap between testing and filing.
Common questions about product testing
How long does testing typically take?
Can I reuse a test report from my home country?
Do you test in-house or send samples externally?
If I change my product design, do I need to retest?
Can testing for multiple certifications run in parallel?
Not sure which tests your product actually needs?
Share your product category and target certification — we’ll map the exact testing plan before any sample goes to a lab.
