Everything around the certificate that also needs to exist.

A product certification only means something if there’s a legally registered business behind it. From choosing the right company structure to trade codes, tender registrations and digital signatures — the administrative layer that makes everything else possible.

Why This Category Exists

Certifications, EPR authorizations and GeM listings all assume a legally registered business is filing them. This category covers what has to be in place before or alongside your product compliance — incorporation, trade codes, tender eligibility and administrative registrations.

Most-Skipped, Most-Regretted

Digital signatures, AD codes and Shop & Establishment registration rarely feel urgent — until an e-filing gets rejected, a shipping bill can’t clear, or a labour inspection asks for a certificate you don’t have. These are cheap to get ahead of and expensive to fix retroactively.

Sequencing Matters

Some of these are prerequisites for others — you need incorporation before a Digital Signature Certificate, and an IEC before an AD Code. We sequence the whole stack so nothing stalls waiting on something that should’ve been filed first.

How We Run It

From structure selection to a fully operational business, in four stages

1

Structure & Sequencing

We confirm the right business structure and map which registrations depend on which.

2

Core Registration

Incorporation, DSC and PAN/GST-linked filings are completed first, since most else depends on them.

3

Trade & Tender Codes

IEC, AD Code, NSIC and APEDA registrations are filed once the core entity is in place.

4

Ongoing Compliance

We track renewal dates and annual filings so none of these lapse silently.

Quick Answers

Common questions about extended support services

Do I need to incorporate a company before I can export from India?

You need a registered business entity of some kind — even a sole proprietorship qualifies — plus an Import Export Code. A full Private Limited Company isn’t mandatory to start exporting, though many overseas partners prefer dealing with one.

What’s the actual difference between IEC and AD Code?

IEC is the baseline registration with DGFT that makes you eligible to import or export at all. The AD Code, issued by your bank, is what customs actually needs on file to process your specific shipping bills — you need the IEC first before an AD Code can be registered against it.

Is a Digital Signature Certificate a one-time purchase?

No — DSCs are typically valid for one to three years and need renewal before expiry. Since so many other filings (MCA, GST, tenders) depend on having a valid DSC, we track its expiry alongside your other registrations.

Can I switch business structures later, say from Sole Proprietorship to Pvt Ltd?

Yes, this is a common growth step. Converting requires fresh incorporation as the new entity type and typically transferring assets, contracts and registrations across — it’s more involved than simply amending paperwork, so it’s worth planning for early if you expect to scale.

Do I need NSIC registration if I already have Udyam/MSME registration?

They serve different purposes. Udyam/MSME registration establishes your eligibility as a small enterprise generally, while NSIC’s Single Point Registration Scheme specifically unlocks tender fee waivers and EMD exemptions — most MSEs pursuing government tenders hold both.

Not sure which of these your business already needs?

Tell us your business stage and goals — we’ll map exactly which registrations to prioritise first.
